Welcome!! This is where I will post news, updates, information and stories about volunteering with Disaster Corps in Bay St. Louis, MS. I, along with other Disaster Corps volunteers, will be working on tearing down and cleaning out buildings damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Bay St. Louis is located in coastal Mississippi, just an hour east of New Orleans. See a map.

Sorry to be so many days out of contact. Your journey (and your writing) are gripping. I couldn't stop reading until the end. Yes, indeed, please rest.
The drive to FL went well, but left me tired. Many days of rest have now got me in a good place. The house is great...much comfortable outdoor space and, of course, awesome weather. Beginning to unpack and arrange. Assembled the new gas grill yesterday a.m., so ribs aren't far away.
You take care. Thinking of you every day. Hardback copy of "Shalom, Y'all" is on the coffee table for when you visit.
